Introduction
7. Card stud is a very popular poker game,
and before Texas Hold'em made a beakthrough
it was the most popular poker game online.
The great difference between 7 card stud and
texas hold'em is that in this game there is
no such thing as cards on the table. All the
cards that are being delt, are delt to you
to the player only, and can not be used by
the other players.
Short facts:
The game starts after all the
players has contributed with an ante to the
pot. An "ante" is a small amount of money
that secures that the pot has a certain size.
Afterwards each player receives to cards
facing downwards, and one card facing
upwards. The person who has recieved the
card with the lowest value makes a bet, and
when all players has made a bet, folded ore
checked, another card is being delt out and
a new betting round starts. This continue
untill all players has 7 cards on the hand.
The player with the highest 5 car
combination wins the pot.
The gamet:
After all people has contributed
with an ante, each player recieves to cards
facing downwards and one car facing upwards.
The player with with the lowest upside card
now places a bet, and after the other
playesr has made a bet, raised, checked ore
foled a new card is being handed out to all
players so everybody now has 4 cards. The
player who now has the highest card starts
the betting round, and this continues untill
all players has 7 cards. Now you have to
combine your cards and gain the highest
possible comibination. The player with the
highest combination wins the pot.
Extra into:
If 2 players receives the same
lowest ore highest card, then spare is
considered the higest followed by, hearts,
diamonds, and clubs.
